ON WHERE WARMLY IS HEADED W/ KAIA

Episode Slide (15).png

In case you aren’t a Friends fanatic like I am, the title of today’s episode (or at least Episode 11) might be lost on ya. But I’ll explain!

Ross and Rachel are tag-teaming a couch and doing their very best to maneuver it up a staircase, which leads to a bit that always leaves me in a giggle fit: Ross barking “Pivot! Pivot! Pivot!” hoping that Rachel understands the severity of the situation, and alters the trajectory of the couch.

Let’s be honest. It may be funnier if you just watch the whole encounter.

As promised, today marks a shift in perspective for Warmly, and one I am so eager to say is finally upon us.

The fullness of what’s next on Warmly will be realized in the coming weeks, but the TL;DR version of what you’ll learn in this episode is that we’ve got a lot more coming, but our focus is not so much on the literal letters and words we’ve written as much as it will be on some other things.

Here are a couple of the mini-series you can expect:

  1. Can we be friends?!

Social media can be a weird thing, but it’s been a gift in my life. Sometime it’s connected me with total strangers, and other times it’s helped me reconnect with folks from a past life: high school, college, part time jobs I had when I was trying to save up for a class trip to Europe. On this series, I’ll “sit down” with guests who I wasn’t real friends with or am not real friends with — but admire from afar. Let’s let social media do some good, too.

  2. Is this thing on?

This is the series where everybody is a somebody, and somebody’s got something to say. I wanted a more open-ended way of inviting participation from many of you! Everyone is passionate about something, and this mini-series will be the vehicle by which each of you can talk at length about the thing that you can’t shut up about — the thing you would talk about if the entire world was your captive audience for a few minutes.

  3. Guideposts for life.

This is a mini-series of episodes where I talk about people, posts, and other things I’ve happened upon lately that are helping me to see things a little different. Some days I believe in karma or fate, or something much stronger or more intentional than that — but at the end of the day, I believe that the universe sends people, conversations, strangers, posts, off-handed remarks your way in the exact moment you need them: to refine you, and reframe your mind.

To compliment this announcement, I’ve baked up to extra episodes for you today that I think you’ll really dig:

EPISODE 12 | Ohana Means Family

EPISODE 13 | We are not machines

Both of these fall under the Guidepost For Life Series.

Once it’s all said & done, you’re welcome to leave an honest review of Warmly on Apple Podcasts.

Can’t wait to hear from ya!
