ON THE PARTS OF YOUR STORY THAT DON'T QUITE FIT W/ FAITH

Episode Slide (42).png

In case you didn’t hear me say it last week, happy new year!

I’m eager to introduce you to today’s guest (as well as next week’s guest) — Faith.

Some fun things you might want to know about Faith are that:

  • She survived a safari lion walk in Zimbabwe

  • She will always root for the villains in Disney movies because she believes they're simply misunderstood.

  • She specifically loves Southern Hip-Hop/Rap of all the rap genres (i.e., Andre3000, T.I., Ludacris, Lil Wayne). Can you blame her?!

  • She loathes baking, but loves cooking and mixology. Cheers!

Faith and I know each other through college, but we didn’t connect until well after we both graduated. In fact, neither of us can really confirm if we exchanged a single word during undergrad.

Anyway, in part ONE of Faith’s episodes we’ll talk about:

  • how to pick a college

  • failing college — figuratively, and literally

  • the required chapel/spiritual programming that Kaia refused to participate in

  • thinking your college choice will impact your eternal outcome

In part TWO we’ll dive into why Faith thinks story is important and connects us, but also urges us not to make every single piece of our stories look picture-perfect. We’ll also dig into three motifs faith can identify in her own life.

You can keep the conversation going with Faith:

I’ve also created a list of things under the bolded References section at the bottom of this post. These are just the things we talked about on the podcast that you might be curious to learn more about.

Talk to you soon,

Kaia
