ON HOMELESSNESS W/ BRI
Hey, y’all —
Today’s episode features one of my friends, and someone who I deeply admire - Bri. Briona Jenkins is an activist, speaker, and my personal fashion icon. She currently lives in Austin, Texas — but I’ve been trying to get her to move to Philly.
Some fun things you might want to know about Bri are that:
If she could eat one thing for the rest of her life it would be a bacon, broccoli, and feta pizza from Pepe’s Pizza in New Haven, CT.
She loves long road trips and often jokes that she missed her calling as a long haul truck driver. She has driven 13 hours straight before.
She once met Barry Manilow in a hotel lobby in New York.
We’ll talk about her past experiences and how she launched her very own consulting practice this year — how she balances & prioritizes the people in her life — and how we all need to change the rhetoric we use and the way we think about homelessness.
In case you’d like to keep the conversation going with Briona aka Bri, you can:
Work with her by sending an inquiry through her website
Listen to her podcast, The Tea with Bri. [I even put together a list of my favorite episodes of hers last week, in case you missed that.]
