ON AUTISM W/ KAIT

I’m eager to introduce you to today’s guest — Kait!

Kait and I met in college, but we would have considered one another more so “acquaintances” at the time.

Some fun things you might want to know about Kait are that:

  • She wrote and illustrated two children’s books in elementary school and won a Reading Rainbow award!

  • She now owns more leggings and sweatpants than actual pants, and she’s ok with that

  • She is a true crime fiend and have never missed a Monday episode of the Crime Junkie podcast

Anyway, this week’s episode we’ll talk about:

  • working in the non-profit world

  • the one and only Hinge date Kait went on

  • being a transplant/nomad

We also talked a bit about our time at Covenant College, and some of the recent rumblings, so you may want to tune into the bonus episode I released today, too. We talk about the need for open dialogue, and a letter another former Covenant grad wrote calling for action and calling out the racist experiences many if not all black and other persons of color experience in their time there.

I’ve also created a list of things under the bolded References section at the bottom of this post. These are just the things related to what we talked about on the podcast and things you might be curious to learn more about.

Talk to you soon,

Kaia
