ON OWNING YOUR MENTAL HEALTH: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE PANIC ATTACKS IN BETWEEN W/ LISA

We’re nearly out of the forbidden forest of the weary, dreary grey winter sky (and weather!) but today’s episode is all about mental health regardless of what’s falling from the sky.

I’m eager to introduce you to today’s guest — Lisa.

Some fun things you might want to know about Lisa are that:

  • Lisa loves music and concerts! She’s really missed live music during COVID-19. As an alternative, Lisa can often be found having a dance party in her head 90% of the day.

  • Lisa played field hockey for 8 + years.

  • Lisa will always be a NY Giants fan! Per Lisa, “Let's go Big Blue!”

Lisa and I met when a mutual friend (and our former roommate!) introduced us…and suggested we all lived together. Lisa will always be

“that stranger that became a friend that I also just so happened to live with through a global pandemic, randomly.”

Anyway, this week’s episode we’ll talk about:

  • getting the COVID vaccine

  • being an extrovert that wants to have moments of introversion from time to time

  • how to engage with your therapist

  • the beep test (if you know, you know — I sure didn’t)

You can keep up with Lisa on Instagram here OR on How Lisa Lives. Take your pick (or take them both).

I’ve also created a list of things under the bolded References section at the bottom of this post. These are just the things we talked about on the podcast that you might be curious to learn more about.

Talk to you soon,

Kaia
