A grand day for a grand launch for a grand podcast

Hello, you —

Well, here we are! It feels like I’ve anticipated this day longer than I literally have, but I’m all about theatrics so let’s say it’s been “forever.”

I would be a fool not to thank some people who have helped me get here:

• to Phil, for telling me that all I needed to start a podcast was to start recording. Turns out, that strategy works!

• to Audrey, for listening to Pod Not Pod, a stripped down, super vulnerable, never released and never-to-ever-be-released recording of me in my feels. Thanks for listening to me for longer than I deserve. [I do still expect you to listen to every episode of Warmly, though, sorry].

• to Veronica, for reassuring me that there’s a million places this thing could go, it’s just a matter of who stands in line for the ride. And for answering all kinds of silly logistical questions about having a podcast.

• to Kay, Warmly’s unofficial cheerleader. Every podcast needs someone who will listen to every episode twice: once before it’s published, and once after.

• to Alex & Lisa, for supporting me in spite of the fact that our home has zero sound insulation. Whether you liked it or not, your audible cheers have touched me way more than I probably let on.

• to Jenna, Wesley, Marisa, and Ana — your bravery & willingness to come along with me on this journey from the jump is something I don’t take lightly. Thank you for sharing yourselves with me & Warmly’s listeners.

• to my parents, who gave me many gifts, but especially the gift of my voice. I am grateful for it, and I’m glad I get to share it.
