ON SHARING FAILURE W/ KAIA
Hello there, friends —
This week’s episode title should be read out loud much like when Jeffree Star says “welcome to my channel!”
Our society not only celebrates and praises those that share share share — but we’re operating in a society that downright feels entitled to pieces of us, often slighted when we opt to withhold.
To put it plainly…
Some things are truly better left unsaid.
Not because we’re all about keeping secrets but because I believe some of us have been trapped by this idea that making our story or making ourselves more accessible to others makes us more valuable, and that in some cases the story living outside of us allows us to move forward and heal.
I’m not here to say that that’s never the case, but bear with me as I babble through the story of why I feel so strongly about this right now.
